My grandfather, Harvey Hansen, began Hansen Lamp & Shade on Phinney Ridge in the 1930s.  It has been my privelage to operate the business since taking it over from my father, Gail Hansen, in 1994.  After moving to Lake City for 14 years and the last 4 years in the Wedgewood neighborhood, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close the Seattle location.  I would like to thank all of the incredible dealers, decorators, designers and lamp lovers I have been blessed to work with over the years.  And, a big thank you to all of the employees who have helped to make Hansen's what it is.  

For the next chapter, I am moving the business to Camano Island.  I plan to be available for business before the year's end.  I will continue to post updates on my website.  If you have any questions, the business phone number will remain in service - 206-363-1635.
